About The Courtyard
The Courtyard is at the heart of the small town of Plattsburg, Missouri. Just 38 miles from downtown Kansas City and a short drive from St. Joseph. We serve many neighboring communities, including Kearney, Platte City, Liberty, Cameron, Gower, and Lathrop. Like our rural neighbors, Plattsburg is a welcoming community where people are friendly, and prices are affordable.
Historic Location
Our historic red brick building, which is fully ADA-compliant, boasts 10,000 square feet of wide-open spaces on two floors. There is plenty of room to mingle, dance, and celebrate your day.

The Courtyard's atrium, arches, and unique nooks and crannies are a wedding photographer's dream to create lasting images of your special day.
Bride's Room
A newly decorated bride's room makes getting gorgeous a relaxed experience. The room features couches, easy chairs, make-up tables, and a floor-to-ceiling mirror to showcase the wedding party's dresses.

Groom's Room
The newly revamped groom's room offers a stylish and relaxed space to prepare for the big day. Equipped with comfortable seating, grooming essentials, and a large mirror for last-minute adjustments, it's the perfect spot for the groom and his party to unwind and get ready in style.
Sound & Lighting
Sparkling lights wrap around 170-year-old posts and drape gently from above to create magic for your evening or afternoon event. A variety of lighting options gives wedding planners even more flexibility.
Reception Space
Upstairs is the ideal place for receptions of all sizes. Its tall ceilings and marvelous acoustics form a spacious yet intimate atmosphere for any party style.
Amenities
Near the Bride's Room is a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerators for snacks and drinks. A separate groom's room gives the guys a place to prep and gear up. And when everyone is ready, our graceful staircase awaits.
